Bindarrabi honours and respects the Githabul People on whose traditional lands we live, work and play. This is a place where stewardship of the land, conservation of local native flora and fauna, and regeneration of soils and biodiversity are considered paramount. Our community lives together in harmony and successfully integrates with the wider community. We love diversity and welcome all who aspire to our shared values.
Roz Glazebrook, freelance writer, visited with a group of Brisbane Bushwalkers and wrote an article on Bindarrabi and their visit. Thanks Roz, so glad you enjoyed your time here!

BindarrabI Celebration (weather permitting)
Mar 7 at 1 PM – Mar 8 at 4 PM
Bindarrabi Community invites you to come and celebrate the recent rains and the end of the bushfires that ravaged through the mountains from November through to January. We’re inviting friends and our broader community to a weekend of music and food. We’re super excited to welcome David Rovics who is a singer songwriter and anarchist. We’ll be cranking up the wood fired pizza oven and will be cooking up a feast of food that will include vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
As usual camping will be available. Bring your own tent – or contact us about hiring one of our large bell tents. We have a fully equipped kitchen in the campground, hot showers and composting toilet facilities. The creeks are flowing and the rock pools are beautiful for a swim. We’ll be conducting a tour of the property on Sunday morning and Doone will chat about our exciting plans for moving into the future. As those of you who have visited Bindarrabi before will know, we are nestled in amongst Koreelah National Park, so its pretty spectacular. The weekend will be cancelled in the event of rain.
We’re suggesting a donation on entry to this event with gift economy principles.
Music and dinner $20
Music dinner and camping $30
Children 16 and under free entry and camping, $5 dinner.
